Here is an explanation of my post "Random doll for your enjoyment"
[Considering the interesting reactions I got, perhaps its better entitled, "A surprising insight into the mind of a tired college student."]
Just in response to one comment made by a friend, no, this doll is not depressed. I originally called her "I Live" because I saw two sides of life, the good and the bad, white and black. But, life isn't always so clear, symbolized by the blank, neutral, look on her face and the various mixtures of white, black, and gray in her clothing.
Most everything is black or white (or a mixture of the two) signifying they can be used for good or evil. The gray shoelaces signify that aspects of life are gray, and one will not necessarily know if they are doing the correct thing. Similarly, her wings can carry her to great heights of good or bad, but she is the one to make that determination. Overall, everyone has a little bit of "good" and "evil" within them, but our job in this world is to overcome all evil inclinations.
In fact, most of the doll is black and white except for her eyes and hair. And these two items represent the true essence of life. The dolls green eyes, life, are the gateway to her soul, and her red hair, flame, is the passion which drives her through life.
Now take another look at her and tell me what you see...
- Sorry if there were any misunderstandings... I am not depressed. No worries mate! :D

Talking to Myself
Hmm, I should probably change the welcome sign to say, Welcome... How does the saying go? If there's no one to laugh at you - laugh at yourself! Ha ha haha haha. Well, the saddest part about that little comment is that I laughed at it. *sigh* Some of us are hopeless you know.
Have a good, stress free, restful, full of sleep, food, and no computer assignment, weekend. :D [- I wish I could. That's right my nonexistent readership, live so that I can live vicariously through you - It's the only decent enjoyment I get when I'm a slave to hw.]

What am I on?
Lol! I just came to check out my page, and I see my counter is working fine. But, um, when my blog loaded all I saw was my meez (that's the post entitled "testing 1, 2, 3"... I created that thing - it's like a moving avatar) bouncing around on a pogo stick, and the thought struck me, what am I tripping on? Ha ha. At least my life gets funny/interesting when I'm really tired, running on no sleep, and fighting stress. he he he...

The Modern Human Condition: Affect
There is no question that relationships have changed drastically in the 20th and 21st centuries. However, the question begs asking, have the changes in modern day relationships benefited society? While there is no definitive answer to such a question, the differences in approach and opinion on this subject between the secular and Orthodox Jewish worlds are marked and striking in their divergence.
Indeed, the main message of the articles is crystal clear: the world has changed, is changing, and people relate to each other differently. Yet, while the secular world struggles to understand, adapt, and conceptualize the far-reaching consequences of these changes, the Orthodox Jewish community labors to reassert and apply the Torah’s (Bible’s) precepts to the modern era. Where one set of articles explores the depths of change and damage wrought upon society, the other set addresses many issues, isolates them, and attempts to heal the wounds.
Generally speaking, the articles deal with three fundamental interactions and relationships commonly found within society. The first being the fundamental “I” of individuality, with a strong emphases on the changing role of women within society and relationships. The second interaction is that of husbands and wives where the stability, or lack thereof, of the relationship is viewed in terms of the modern marriage. Lastly, the parent child relationship is reevaluated in light of the changing circumstances and societal norms.

If I were a Fremen
--> Dune Junkies UNITE!
OK, so I decided to share one last doll with you. It was getting later and later, and I thought to myself, If I were a fremen and wandered the desert dunes, what would I look like in my Stillsuit? Well, here you have it!
[I've been clean for months, I promise. :D]
(If you have no idea what I'm talking about, click on the links to learn about Dune and Stillsuits.)
P.P.S. Don't miss my other posts for today. I know it's been a long time since I multi-posted, but there you have it. :D

Random doll for your enjoyment
Well, last night/this morning I was in an interesting mood, and this is one of the dolls that resulted from the random firing of my neurons past 1am. I have others - but maybe I'll let you see them some other time. I named this one, "I live." Maybe we'll make an explanation of that the subject of my next post.

Yes! I have one paper down, and now that's off my back. I feel so much better. This was really a pressing issue and now I'm more or less done with that class for the remainder of the semester.
So, now we...

Uninspired
As of late, I have definitely been feeling uninspired. Sorry for the lack of comedy/enjoyment/craziness. I'll try and make it up sometime, but for now I am so busy with school work, and its only getting worse since I'm getting closer and closer to the end of the semester.
As a side note, I just learned in my Organizational Behavior, i.e. psych, class that all change is stressful. Isn't that interesting? One example: You go to the Caribbean for a 7 day vacation and you have a suite located right above the beach where you can hear the ocean waves lapping the shore. But you know what? It will be difficult for you to fall asleep because you're used to the noises of the cars and peoples of your home town. I.e. it's stressful to be there even though you're on vacation. And, all change is stressful to some extent. Getting engaged, married, moving, purchasing a house, etc. etc. etc.
So, now that I've shared some knowledge with you, let's see if I can't dig up an avatar for your enjoyment.
How does this rate on your random meeter? :D
Have a good one!

Can't sleep...
So, yes, I am currently suffering from insomnia - It seems by brain isn't interested in resting at the moment. Be that as it may, when many people hear the words "can't sleep," they naturally finish the statement with, "the clowns are going to eat me," which originated with Bart from the Simpson's. So to celebrate and honor that memory, and my friends who remember, this picture is for you:

"I feel like a stick figure who runs around without respite from the chaos of life. And you can quote me on that."
I'll post soon if I survive the day...
P.S. The stick figures are for you oh lovers of stick-figure-avatars. ;D
