Well, I say! It's been forever since I put up a proper post. He he. Well, no apologies. Hinneni! Here I am!!! Let's get ready for the holy Sabbath and the auspicious month of Elul (which is almost over)!
A thought struck me recently and I thought I'd share with you Sarah Rutti (does anyone else read this blog?). I realized today that we can't live in the past. I have been having interesting times at my new work, and I realized that:
1. People only have power over you if you let them have power over you. (I am referring to a mental power more than a physical one.)
2. If you react to a current situation in light of your past experiences only, you are dooming yourself to failure. I mean, that, while you should learn from the past and be careful, you should not let the past dictate your current actions. Be careful, but don't let the past cripple you.
3. Be exceedingly careful of what you say to people in any situation, because every word you ever say can be used against you or twisted into lashon harah. This sounds like paranoia, but it's the truth. Unless you really know someone (and even then) be VERY careful of what you say to them and how you say it.
And so ends Sara's advice corner for the day.

I can definitely empathize this the many lessons that you have learned, and will learn, from your job. I really should write down the long list of things that my old job helped me work on. You've touched on some of them in your post, so i feel ya' in that sense.
Thank you for the reminder, and sharing, i hope that you're getting more readers thought...
