YES!!!!

Good news. I finished my International Business class, and you know what that means? Yeah, that's right, I'M ALMOST FINISHED. Ah, life is good.

So, since I have only part of one class left, and that means I only have to write my research paper, I'm CELEBRATING! Partay, partay! Ooohyeah!

Do you ever feel Hashem in your life? Those gentle guiding hands that lead you through danger and travails but also through happiness and joy. I’ve felt it. I feel it. It’s like a gentle whisper against my mind, a soft breeze on a spring day. And suddenly, He’s there, shielding you against a storm, holding you as you cry on His shoulder, laying you gently down to sleep, and helping you rise every morning. He loves us more then we will ever know, and we, blind and dumb to his presence, dream of his existence and fall on his invisible strength in times of need. I’ve fallen on him before, and I fall on him now. My heart beats and leaps with emotion, but he catches me when I fall and stands me up when my own legs will not carry me. Divine Providence ROCKS!

Well, today was just one of those days- those good days that is. :D

• First off, my quiz was fine, and I found a new way of studying that will hopefully reduce the time I need to spend on International Business.
• But this was pretty cool: My teacher decided that we should watch the Transformer's coming attraction (what that has to do with International
  Business is your best guess) but he couldn't get the volume to work. Shame... :D (Talk about G-d preserving my innocence. I really don't need to see the Transformer's coming attraction.)
• I caught the subway to and from school really easily, and both ways the trip to and from school was really quick. Yeah!
• I took the train home today because I didn't feel like waiting for my ride. Yeah! Now that felt great. ;)
• And last but certainly not least, I decided that I would stay home alone for Sabbath lunch last night, but before I went to bed, a friend randomly called to invite me over for lunch, so I won't be alone after all! (She lives down the block, literally, so I barely have to walk anywhere.) Now, how cool is that?

Status Update - It's a war out there...

Time: 1350 hundred hours.
Status: 9 hours of sleep in 72 hours. Also, 2 quizzes down (go me!). Furthermore, 1 bibliography and 1 outline ready to be handed in. (Yes!)


Ah! It's a war zone here. I'm fighting valiantly, and I only have 1 quiz left on Thursday. Here is the layout for next week: 1 quiz Monday, first five pages of research paper due Tuesday or Wednesday, 2 quizzes Thursday. Um, I think I might go a little crazy. It should all pass after June 28th. He.. he.. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Status: Half-awake. Oh, and Monday quiz completed (Yeah!)
Due Tomorrow: 1 quiz, 1 outline, 1 bibliography

Hmm... seeing as I haven't read the the chapter even once for my quiz tomorrow, AND that I haven't typed even one book in my bibliography, I'd probably better go. (More later.)

P.S. Oh yeah. The quiz I took today felt much better than quiz number 3 or 4 (thank G-d!).

Marathon Update!

Time: I plead the fifth
Status: Well, I went through the chapter once. (I have a quiz tomorrow, ahem, I mean later today.) I took excellent notes, but it's so late that I really have to go to sleep. *Kicking self* Ahhhh! It looks like I'm taking a nap when I get home tomorrow. *Sigh* I need a pick me up.

Now we're talking. OK, off to my work I go. Who cares what time it is. Right? LOL! I might as well loose my mind in style, eh? :D JK! I'll update ya tomorrow. AND, GL to my friend who has a midterm tomorrow. I know you'll do great! We can have a drink together to celebrate when you finish. OK, I think it's time for me to go...

WELCOME TO THE RACE OF THE SUMMER! (Needing Motivation)

OK, so here's the story. I'm missing my blog, and my life is a little crazy in terms of the amount of work I have and what I should and shouldn't be doing, so I'm looking to the Internet for motivation. (I know it's pathetic, but I miss my loyal fanship and my blog in general, so...) Here I am. I am inviting you to the race of the summer! Watch SEP race to the finish of her college career in a flash of speed, mental agility, and plain determination.

So, let's start with out fist update. The first main goal is approaching like wildfire.
1. "Quiz" on Monday.
2. Outline and working bibliography due Tuesday.
3. "Quiz" on Wednesday?
4. "Quiz" on Thursday?

To date: Outline completed.

Diet extension

Well, I'm not sure that my diet was really a success, so I'm extending it a few more days. (As illustrated by this wonderful little icon, I'm still not sleeping much.) So, if I do well on my Monday quiz, then I'll relent a bit and start posting at an alarming rate again. If that doesn't work, then, well... I don't really want to think about it. So have a good weekend!

OK, the time has come to go on a metaphorical diet.

Yeah, so um, I haven't been doing my homework, and I take full responsibility for that little problem, but things change NOW. I'm going on a computer and phone diet for the next few weeks until I finish this International Business course and get my senior research in order. I am devoted to you, my readership, but I MUST pull myself together, now, before it's too late to pick up the pieces. (For those of you uninformed, I know you wouldn't believe it, but I'm in the middle of a few, very intense, summer college courses.) Yeah, so, that's the story. I'm sure you'll be understanding, because you are very good readers. OF COURSE, I'll probably still update relatively often, but if I don't, please forgive me. I need to do my homework.

That plea having been supplicated to the masses, I must go to bed. Further posts are heretofore temporarily suspended for the trial period of four days, until Wednesday June 13th. Good luck to me, eh?

Jaws

Anyone who knows me knows the story of the time I went to Universal Studios as a child. I went on the tram ride which seems innocent enough, but there is this one part where you pass by the movie set to Jaws. There, they have a huge mechanical shark, the Jaws that was used in the movie actually, and at one point he "disappears"under the water. Well, as the tram operator is talking about mundane things, Jaws suddenly jumps out of the water at the tram. Now, I was eight years old, and all of a sudden Jaws popped out at me right at my elbow. I nearly had a heart attack and jumped sideways to grasp this random lady's arm in alarm. Now, you may laugh, but I was traumatized and I just came across the perfect picture to show you why anyone would be disturbed by this occurrence, especially if you aren't expecting it.

Now, imagine you're sitting next to the woman in white. That was me. :( Man, that tram must have had 5 separate cars.... why me? LOL! And don't you dare tell me you wouldn't be alarmed, because I know you would have grabbed the woman beside you in lieu of your mommy. (My mother wasn't there. Smart woman.) I'm just glad that my father, who was sitting where the woman in white is sitting, didn't go into congestive heart failure. I mean - that shark is HUGE!

Just for randomness sake... there was a woman on the subway with a dog in her lap this morning. I guess it was on a leash, but it was still pretty strange. I ended up sitting next to her. LOL! SO, now I've decided that doggies and light colored clothing mixed with the subway is the perfect representation of summer in NY.

Country Bumpkin

Do you like my country bumpkin? For all I've accomplished homework wise in the past two days I AM a bumpkin. I wish I at least had banjo music to show for it. :D
