Random

I'm feeling pretty good at the moment. I got out of class almost an hour early and I got home about 1 & 1/2 hrs earlier than I usually do. Yeah! So, in honor of the occasion - randomness reigns!

The *Natives Have Arrived

"Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest
Come taste the sun-sweet berries of the Earth
Come roll in all the riches all around you
And for once, never wonder what they're worth..."

We really are almost there. Pocahontas is the penultimate, second to last, Disney character I'm posting. I'll be sad when the venture ends tomorrow, but I've got some fun things planned for the future so don't you worry!

EXTRA EXTRA! Take a look.

Just as a post script, I fixed all the pictures with broken links, so feel free to take another look at Alice and Ariel bellow. If there's still a problem, let me know.

*That's for you Sarah.

Too Tired...

I'm sorry my loyal readers and fans... I'm just too tired to post the penultimate Disney picture. You'll have to wait until I have a little more strength. For now, enjoy the funny avatars that I found. ;D Good night.

Carrots in the Freezer? Oh man...

Q: How do you know when you are beyond tired?
A: Well, do you remember those carrots you were using to make a soup last night? When you wake up the next morning and go into the FREEZER looking for X and find the extra carrots frozen on the top shelf- yes the carrots that you were *supposed* to put back in the REFRIGERATOR last night- that is when you know you are beyond tired.

G-d help me, please! We all know I need it. And, back to work we go...

We're almost there...

Now, onto our next group of Disney stars. We present the famous non-princesses! *The crowd goes wild!* To start - drum roll please - Alice! Won't you please come forward. Here we see Alice holding a piece of mushroom which is already shrinking her. Dinah is sleeping lazily by her shoe waiting for Alice to stop tripping. ;D

A Princess in Honor of Purim

OK, so now we get into the stickier realm of creating princesses and Disney characters that don't really match their pictures. I tried really hard to match them exactly, but, the website I used just didn't have the proper dresses etc. I tried to be accurate anyways, so let me know what you think.

Introducing Ariel!

First stage - Mermaid

Next: Ariel as a Human!

Lastly, Ariel as a Bride.

As always, see the alternative pictures here.

Have a Happy One!

Hmmm, I haven't gotten much done today, so I should probably run to do my chores, but it's raining outside. In fact, it was so dark that when I woke up, I thought it was still the middle of the night. OK, OK, I'll go do my thing. Have a good one everyone, and Happy Purim!

Arabian Nights

"A whole new world
A dazzling place i never knew
But when I'm way up here
It's crystal clear
That now i'm in a whole new world
With you
Now I'm in a whole new world with you." - Jasmine

Disney Seriously Catering to Adults o('.')o

So, I read in the Wall Street Journal that Disney has decided to start a line of wedding dresses for adults that are inspired by Disney Princesses. Isn't that something else? Above I posted one of the concept pictures that the WSJ published. I'm kind of in shock about this. It's like people can't grow up, and the dream of being a princess and having prince charming save you is so deeply entrenched in society that you need a Disney wedding dress. I don't have anything against the wedding dress itself, I don't really care what dress a bride wears, it's more the concept behind the action. Let's hear what you have to say...

NEXT! Step right up Princess...

"Cinderelly, Cinderelly, night and day it's Cinderelly..."

OK, so I've created a method for my madness -just so you know what to expect- I am first going to present all proper princesses. Then, I will present Disney characters who are famous, and grouped with the princesses, but not truly princesses. Meaning, next you'll see Jasmine and Ariel, and then after that I'll present Bell, Pocahontas, and Alice. Maybe I'll work on some others, but we'll see if I have the tools at my disposal. ;D

Feeling Frustrated?

He he he he. It happens to the best of us. :D Happy Homework Trails!

[In truth, I'm feeling fine right now. I just found this little picture thing so funny, I had to share it with you.]

OK, now I'm really going to go do something productive, even if that means going to sleep, soon, or relatively soon- sometime tonight perhaps. Alright, calm down, I'll stop stalling. ;D

This one's for you...

To those of my friends who are not so enthused with Harry Potter or even those of you who hate HP at this point - well, I love you anyways. And well, this one's for you...

Today, we officially explore the "I Hate Harry Potter Universe."

So, to start off, here is an article all about why BBC's Robert Winder hates HP.
"Why I hate Harry Potter"

OK, and on to the next exhibit:
For those of you die hard hate HP fans, here is a website just for you. If you want to see if your hate of Harry is true, take this pole.

You know, this is a larger topic than I anticipated. This will have to be installment 1, and we'll revisit this topic over time. So, to end off, one last fun picture:

And, one last one... (Sorry, I can't help myself)

Next up!

Today, we have the beautiful princes Aurora who is also known as Sleeping Beauty. [I bet you forgot her name is Aurora. I'm not convinced however that it's an impressive thing that I remembered her name. ;D] Are we not blessed to have such beauty in our midst?
P.S. Please notice the painstaking adherence to detail. At the end of Sleeping Beauty, the castle where Aurora sleeps is practically hidden in a mist, and Prince Charming had to cut through red rose bushes/thorns to kill the dragon and save Princess Aurora. So - please note the roses and the castle, which looks like it's on a mountain shrouded in mist. Also, as I'm sure you noticed, the dress, crown, and necklace are all very similar to the original. [He he, you're right Sarah, I am crazy, and you love me because of it!]

Note: Stay tuned to meet the next princess :D Click here to see an alternate version of Sleeping Beauty.

Headline! Disney Princesses Visiting

I totally stole the original idea for this from Sarah Rutti.
So here we go, Disney princesses galore! I'll post a few each day, although I've already made quite a few of them. You decide how accurate they are.

Um... What is this?

I found this on the Internet, and the main question that comes to my mind is: What is this thing? The answer: I have no idea. The Spanish in the top left section is either someone espousing Christianity in Spanish, or it's an excerpt from a Spanish religious book. The Hebrew words are religious in nature as I assume the Greek texts is. Mostly the Hebrew is random religious words, phrases, and others are nonsensical. So weird... I don't get it. Anyways, welcome to the strangeness of the world.

Because I'm a Princess...

I stole this idea from Sarah Rutti. This is what I would look like if I could dress like a princess every day. I just can't wait!

[Note the fact that I tzniatized the gown.]

(*Yes, this is now officially a word. I made it so!)

;D

DDR

Introducing Dance Dance Revolution to those who have no idea what it is. The picture on the left shows what a scree looks like while you're playing. More or less you need to time your steps to coincide with the arrows lining up. As you can see on the pictures bellow, there are arrows on the foot pad. More or less you need some coordination. :D The first picture is a real arcade version of DDR. The picture bellow that is what it looks like when you buy mats and play it on a Play Station at home. I hope that gives you a feeling for what DDR is.

From a past life - here is a sample of the music.
[Don't worry, instrumental only, no words. :D If you want to hear funky Japanese/anime/ddr music, click here.]

Back 2 Work

Move along there! Back to work now. :D And here we go...

(He he he, very clever. ;D)

Sun Inside Rain

No matter how bleak everything may seem, or how hard things get, there is always some sun inside rain. We should never give up hope, and try not to become overwhelmed with life, because Hashem (G-d) is always there. It's just that sometimes we see him easily and sometimes we don't.
